River
Today at school I helped a couple of people to build a small river in the playground. It is very big. (typed by mom)
Chemistry Class
Today I made paper flowers and we made an explosion that got to be able to touch the american flag at school with diet pepsi and mentos. And then we put vinegar and baking soda together and popped the top off of a film cannister. That was my last chemistry class. (typed by mom - he had a lot to say tonight)
Cake
On Sunday, Dad and I made an autumn leaf cake covered with cream cheese frosting, and it was filled with a bunch of spices. This is my dad and me pointing at the cake. (yep - dictated to mom)
NCAR Field Trip
Today I went to NCAR. National Center for Atmospheric Research. The glasses I am wearing in this picture are supposed to divide light into color coded bits of what it is made of. They can make lights and other things rainbow-colored. It helps scientists know what the light is doing. At NCAR, I made a tornado, looked at a fossilized bit of tree, got to see a supercomputer, made static with my hands and some steel balls in light. (typed by mom)
